Gillian Theobald makes beautiful drawings inspired by the landscape in Terminal 107 Park along the west side of the Duwamish River. She also makes bass relief collages, little jewels really, created out of trash she has collected during the residency, which are then magically transformed back in her Ballard studio.
Gillian received a B.A. and an M.A. from San Diego State University and attended Byam School of Drawing and Painting in London. In 2017 she was a Neddy finalist. Her work has been exhibited extensively both in Seattle, nationally and internationally. She is represented by studio e gallery in Seattle.
